I spent today finishing your "awesome" book! You are a remarkable woman whom I feel honoured to know. I have been giving out your book marks- just gave one to a young girl at a bank who replied that yes, she loved to read- but now that I've read your book-a compelling read- I want to lend out your book to people who I want to inspire. This is a book that deserves to be read for its successful experiments in faith and just goodness.

Getrude moved everyone to tears while speaking in Singapore. In her own words, her Foundation, which was given pledges beyond NZ $1 million by now, will be used to educate young children in Africa, and help them start a business with an entrepreneurship schlarship of US$100 per kid.

The first time I heard her speaking, everyone was so captivated and touched that you could hear a pin drop.
She has lots to give and wants to "play her part in changing the world."

A more amazing person I doubt you will encounter. Her vision and the way in which she lives out her passion is such a wonderful example to us all. Humbled you will be and amazed. What she is achieving for her nation is testiment and encouragement to us all, that we should and must do more for those who are living in such a terrible regime.

Dear Getrude,
I have just experienced two of the most mind blowing events! Firstly was the Wealth Dynamics Weekend in Auckland with Roger Hamilton and those amazing people there. That is where my husband Philip and I met you and purchased your beautiful book.
We are the couple from Taihape - where you have brought to our town our much needed Doctors.
Then I came home to wet horrible weather and I was exhausted from the travel and I found myself tucked up on the couch with your book. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!! You made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me realise just what you can do with just your own talents. I was so proud of you and I related to you so much! You see I was born a year before you, in fact I am one year and 9 days older than you! We are both May babies, but you come under a different star sign. You and I both love music, although I dare say different types of music. But most importantly to me, we both love and realise the importance of family in ones life.

Getrude Matshe was guest speaker at our recent July Club meeting.
The audience of well over 100 members listened spellbound to this charismatic, vibrant, motivational speaker as she recounted tales of the amazing spiritual journey which eventually led her to bring her family to New Zealand in her quest for a better life for them.
We were inspired as Getrude told how, by relentlessly working to utilise her talents as a business woman, author, artist, story teller, entrepreneur and to set up a Trust to benefit of Aids victims in her native Africa, she has achieved huge successes in the five years since she arrived from Africa, virtually penniless, in 2001.
I have been told my many members, that “Getrude is the best speaker we have had.”

To whom it may concern,
As a person with a keen interest in textiles and quilts, Getrude Matshe was invited to be a guest speaker at our monthly club meeting on the 13th October 2005.
Town & Country quilters are a group with around 70 paid club members.
We meet at the War memorial hall in Queen street, Levin.
On the night of the 13th October, there were around 50 – 60 members present during Getrude’s presentation. Getrude kept her listeners interested with her experiences and techniques as she took us through her passion with textiles.
In appreciation for her time and interest, Getrude was presented with petrol vouchers to cover her costs of traveling to our club and a small gift as a thank-you for joining us.

I first met Getrude when she came to speak to our local Woman’s Business Network group in Palmerston North.
Her presentation was hugely inspiring, emotional, challenging and professional. Funny, brave, audacious and spiritual are words that describe Getrude as she shares her life’s journey, which leaves one feeling very encouraged and challenged to put some perspective back into their own situation.
I would recommend Getrude as a presenter to any group looking to be challenged, enlightened and rewarded with a thought provoking message.
